1. Who these rules apply to
1.1 Everyone and every surface
All users, including trial users and subscribers, must follow these rules. They cover public stories, comments, profile information, private messages, AI-assisted content, and support interactions.
1.2 Adults only and zero tolerance
You must be 18 or older. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Read and explicitly accept the Terms of Use / EULA before proceeding with an account. Paying for a feature never exempts you from safety rules.
2. Respect, harassment & hate
2.1 Discuss ideas without targeting people
Disagreement and critical discussion are allowed. Personal abuse, threats, humiliation, stalking, extortion, and coordinated harassment are prohibited. Do not repeatedly contact someone after they decline or block you.
2.2 No hate or dehumanisation
Do not attack or encourage exclusion, violence, or discrimination against people because of characteristics such as ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, or sexual orientation.
2.3 Examples
Prohibited conduct includes:
- Creating multiple accounts to continue insulting a user who blocked you.
- Posting a person’s identity or contact details to invite others to target them.
- Presenting a threat as a joke or fiction when it targets an identifiable person.
3. Privacy, identity & contact sharing
3.1 Protect personal information
Do not expose another person’s name, address, school, workplace, contact information, documents, or private conversations in a way that invades privacy or endangers them. Remove identifying details from stories about real people.
3.2 Respect pseudonyms
Do not impersonate others, attempt to uncover a user’s real identity, or pressure people to move to another service or reveal contact details. Contact-sharing filters reduce exposure; attempting to bypass them is a violation.
4. Sexual content, child safety & dangerous material
4.1 Sexual content
Obscene or pornographic content, sexual harassment, non-consensual sexual material, and sexual exploitation are prohibited. Adult eligibility does not make this an unrestricted sexual-content platform.
4.2 Children
CSAM, grooming, sexualisation or exploitation of minors, and fictional or AI-generated sexual depictions involving minors are prohibited. Suspected child-safety issues should be reported promptly. Follow the Child Safety Standards; do not redistribute suspected illegal material.
4.3 Violence and self-harm
Do not threaten violence, celebrate abuse of an identifiable person, or provide encouragement or practical instructions for self-harm, suicide, or serious wrongdoing. Respectful discussion of difficult experiences is allowed when it does not promote harm. Content warnings do not make prohibited material acceptable.
5. Original work & authentic participation
5.1 Copyright and AI
Publish material you created or have permission to use. Credit does not replace permission. Check AI output before publishing; the same rules apply regardless of how text was produced.
5.2 No manipulation
Do not post scams, malicious links, repetitive spam, deceptive promotions, or artificially manipulate reads, likes, follows, or reports. Do not evade restrictions using another account or automate abuse.
6. How content filtering works
6.1 Automated text checks
Supported publishing flows use text-based filters for detected profanity and contact-sharing patterns. These checks include variants of spelling and punctuation; they are not a complete understanding of every story or language.
6.2 Masking and rejection
Detected profanity and contact details can be replaced with asterisks in stories and comments. Private-message safety checks can refuse a message and apply account warnings or restrictions for detected violations. Certain detected threats can also prevent publication. Do not rewrite prohibited material to get around a check.
6.3 Reports and human review
Filters are combined with user reports and moderator review. A post that passed a filter is not automatically approved or endorsed. Moderators can remove content, suspend access, or ban abusive users after investigating context.
6.4 Limitations and errors
Automated filters may miss harmful content or affect an innocent expression. Report missed violations and send filtering concerns to destek@storymahzeni.com. A masked word does not mean the remainder of a post is acceptable. Do not include the full prohibited material in a public complaint.
7. Report a problem & protect yourself
7.1 Make a useful report
Use the relevant in-app report option and explain the issue:
- Identify the story, comment, profile, or conversation concerned.
- Choose the closest reason and add short factual context.
- For threats or child-safety concerns, also contact support if you can do so safely. Do not attach illegal imagery.
7.2 Blocking
Use account blocking to limit unwanted interaction. Blocking is an account-level tool; it is different from reporting content for moderator removal. Reporting alone does not promise that a post immediately disappears for every reader.
7.3 Emergencies
If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. The reporting queue and support email are not emergency channels. Do not confront a suspected abuser or investigate on your own.
8. Enforcement & appeals
8.1 Response and priority
We aim to review reports within 24 hours and prioritise serious threats and child-safety concerns. This is a review target, not a guaranteed completion time or an emergency service.
8.2 Possible outcomes
Depending on severity, context, and history, action may include:
- A warning or restriction of a feature.
- Removal or restriction of violating content.
- Temporary suspension or permanent account ban.
- Preservation of relevant records and lawful cooperation with competent authorities.
8.3 Serious violations
Severe threats, exploitation, and other serious safety violations may result in immediate action without a preliminary warning. Report volume alone does not establish that content is unlawful. Deliberately false or retaliatory reporting is prohibited.
8.4 Request a review
If you think a decision is wrong, contact destek@storymahzeni.com. Include your display name, the relevant content or action, and a concise explanation. Do not share your password or try to evade a restriction. The Privacy Policy explains handling of report information.
